SPC Founder Fellowship

Focus

Targets founders in the "-1 to 0" phase, helping them build conviction in venture-scale ideas, even before formalizing a concept. The goal is to support founders pursuing "generational and iconic" ventures, such as AGI, new cloud infrastructure, or reimagining industries like healthcare and education.

Funding

  • $400,000 upfront for 7% equity via a SAFE note.
  • Guaranteed $600,000 in the next external funding round.
  • Over $900,000 in credits from partners like OpenAI, AWS, Anthropic, and Figma.

Program Structure

  • Bootcamp (8 weeks): Intensive in-person phase in San Francisco or NYC, focusing on customer discovery, product development, pitch practice, and technical scoping. Includes weekly demos, workshops, and mentorship from SPC partners (e.g., Ruchi Sanghvi, Aditya Agarwal).
  • Residency: Open-ended phase with continued access to SPC resources until founders are ready to raise a seed round. No fixed timelines or mandatory demo days.

Key Features

  • Solo Founders Welcome: Strong preference for technical skills; assistance in finding co-founders
  • Sector-Agnostic: Open to AI, fintech, climate tech, healthcare, etc.

Application Deadline

The Spring 2025 cohort application deadline was February 2, 2025 (now closed). Interviews conclude by February 21, with the program starting March 31.
